Refreshing
Our team members range from high school students to parents of teenagers. Ok, now try to build team unity among those people from different generations (therefore different ways of thinking about everything!) who are already busy apart from mission preparation; some would say, "Do the best you can, but don't get your hope too high." I say, "Watch what my God is doing." We had our first team meeting in over a month this past Friday night, and we had a lot to cover. I was apprehensive about the team's willingness to stay long enough and focus. But our meeting was great! After starting 45 minutes late I was nervous, but it was a great time. The amazing food Lilian and Bethany Sanders contributed probably helped everyone's attitude a little. Our team is coming together. Tyler Ross gave a Spirit-filled devotion out of 2 Peter 1 and it kept getting better after that. We moved onto a discussion of how everyone's prayer life has changed in the past 2 months. I thought this was going to be a rough discussion with only a couple team members stepping up, but almost everyone shared. And not just surface, vague, ss answers; but real, deep, this-is-what-God's-been-doing stuff. It was great! God encouraged me a great deal. Go ahead and put March 14th down as a Sunday to be at church because our team will be presenting during the offertory again in the morning services. Thank you for your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for us and our mission.
